Raw Steel, acetone, acrylic paint, ferric chloride
A series of raw steel panels with acrylic paint abstractions, using a restricted color palette. The artist’s use of acid to intentionally accelerate the rusting process fuses clean paint edges with a rough steel exterior. The textures and colors draw inspiration from the concrete forest environment and metal fabrication studios where the artist grew up in.
